Welcome to Isokari

Welcome to Isokari lighthouse island!

Isokari is located in the southern Bothnian Sea, approximately 22 km south-west from Uusikaupunki, Finland.

The island is known for its lighthouse that was completed during the reign of the Russian Czar, Nicholas I in 1833. The Isokari lighthouse is the second tallest in Finland (49,4 m).

In summer a regular ferry service runs from Uusikaupunki, and visiting boaters can use the facilities of the island’s guest harbour. There are hotel and restaurant services on the island.
